There are many ways to grow in Christ at Three Rivers.
Ministries are simply how the church becomes a family in action. They’re the places where people serve one another, grow in their faith, and meet real needs in the community. Instead of just talking about what we believe, ministries let us live it out—caring for kids, supporting families, reaching neighbors, and walking alongside one another through everyday life. They help the church feel connected, purposeful, and rooted in the gospel in ways that make a difference week after week.
Ministries at Three Rivers
Women's Ministry
Led by Vanessa Byers, Amber Funderburk and Katrina Murphy; women's ministry at Three Rivers works to foster woman's discipleship ministry of the church by helping women establish covenant relationships with other godly women (of all generations) who will encourage and equip them to live for God's glory. Women are regularly involved in Bible Studies, "Lunch Bunch," fellowship events, Heart-to-Heart testimonial nights, and game nights!
Men's Ministry
Led by Spencer Murphy and Travis Bacon, men's ministry aims to bring men together to provide for discipleship, mutual accountability, community building, and Christ-centered fellowship. Most of our men are involved in one of our community groups that meet in different places and at different times. Others meet for Bible studies, theological and book studies, fantasy football and various other activities across the area. We like to take full advantage of all that Grand Lake has to offer.
Community Groups
Community groups are an essential component of discipleship at Three Rivers. One of the most effective means of discipleship is living life together through all its ups and downs. Community groups are a place where you can let your guard down, be open and vulnerable about your struggles, and receive pastoral care, love, and support from fellow Christians. We are intentional about developing Christ-centered, life-on-life relationships, with the context of community at Three Rivers. It is our prayer that most members would be an active participant in a community group.
At Three Rivers, we believe that going through life changes, engaging in discipleship, evangelism and participating in service are best carried out with others. Whether it is a community group, women's ministry, or men's ministry (or perhaps a ministry waiting to be established and led by you) ministries with others allows us to know God deeper, experience His presence more deeply, deepen relationships with others, and prepare to do God’s work in the world.
