Our Core Belief

At Three Rivers, we like to say "Grace Changes Everything." The good news of the gospel is that through the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ all things are being renewed and restored (Col. 1:20: Rev. 21:5). This is not to say that every single person will be saved. But it is to say that the gospel has implications for every aspect of life, including politics, culture, and society. The grace of God that is given to us in Jesus Christ has the power to save sinners, to heal the broken hearted, to transform lives, to set the captives free, and to reshape communities and nations (Luke 4:17-18; Acts 1:8). His grace is more powerful than we imagine and more extensive than we often believe.

Therefore, we believe that the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ is the engine that transforms how we live (2 Tim. 1:9), how we worship (John 4:23-24), how we connect to each other (Acts 2:42), and how we go through hardships in life (2 Cor. 12:9-10).

"For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people, training us to renounce ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright, and godly lives in the present age, waiting for our blessed hope, the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all lawlessness and to purify for himself a people for his own possession who are zealous for good works." (Titus 2:11-14)
